Administrators

Principal: Dr. Danny Todtfeld

Dr. Todtfeld started working in Park Hill in 2017 as the assistant principal at English Landing and Prairie Point elementary schools.  He also served as the assistant principal at Hawthorn Elementary School.  Before his work in Park Hill, Dr. Todtfeld was an instructional coach in the Excelsior Springs School District and taught fifth grade in both Liberty Public Schools and the Ladue School District.

Dr. Todtfeld received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri, his master's degree in elementary administration from Northwest Missouri State University, his education specialist degree in superintendency from Northwest, and his doctoral degree in education leadership from William Woods University.

Dr. Todtfeld is passionate about education, but when he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family.  He enjoys spending time outside and can often be found making BBQ for family and friends.
 

Assistant Principal: Mr. Jonathan Sorens

My name is Jon Sorens, and I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Prairie Point! With more than 20 years in education, I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with students, supporting our outstanding staff, and partnering with families to help every child succeed.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of grade levels and subjects. Those experiences have shaped my belief that every student can thrive when they feel connected, challenged, and supported.

At Prairie Point, my goal is to help create a positive school culture where students are excited to learn, staff members feel valued and empowered, and families know they are an important part of our school community. Whether I'm visiting classrooms, greeting students in the hallway, or cheering them on at school events, I love celebrating the great things happening every day at Prairie Point.
